As of October 1, 2013 Migdalia Diaz, Priority Projects Manager and Technical Product Manager at AIRINC, has been serving as ALPFA Boston’s President.

16-Migdalia Diaz headshotMigdalia started her career in the International Assignment Solutions group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1997 and after specializing in Expatriate Taxation in the U.S. and New Zealand, Migdalia accepted a position with AIRINC within their tax consulting group.

After five years in this group, Migdalia was offered a position managing all company priority projects and was made product manager for two suites of products. She continues in this capacity today.

As President of ALPFA Boston, Migdalia will lead and work with the Board of Directors, the Corporate Advisory Board and Chapter staff to enhance program services, expand membership and ensure the Chapter provides value to its members, corporate partners and the Greater Boston Community.

Migdalia previously served as Vice President of Marquee Events, overseeing planning and execution of the Chapter’s three largest events.

Migdalia was born in Puerto Rico, raised in Connecticut and has lived the past 10 years in Boston following a 2 year assignment in Auckland, New Zealand.

She obtained her B.S. in Accounting from The University of Connecticut School of Business. In addition, Migdalia spent 8 years serving in the Army National Guard as part of C Company, 280th Signal Battalion working in telephone encryption.

ON TV: ALPFA Boston’s new chapter President, Migdalia Diaz and Henry Rodriguez, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for ALPFA Boston made an appearance on Channel 7’s show Revista Hispana last Sunday and this upcoming Sunday, Migdalia is featured on Urban Update with Radhames Nova, Executive Director of ALPFA Boston, also on Channel 7. That segment will air at 11:30am this Sunday, November 20th on WHDH – Channel 7/ NBC – right after NBC’s “Meet The Press”.
