Boston – In a mixture of live Latin Jazz, special lighting décor, and over 300 of Boston’s most prominent leaders, El Mundo celebrated its 12th Latino Professional Mixer and transformed the Washington Ballroom in the Marriott Courtyard Boston to honor the future leaders of America: Latino Millennials.

This year’s four distinguished panelists were: 27-year-old entrepreneur and co-Founder of “Tressed,” Julisa Salas, 22-year-old Haverhill City Councilor, Andy Vargas, 29-year-old Boston Ballet Second Soloist and National Award of Dance recipient, Diana Albrecht, and 23-year-old Berklee School of Music Presidential Scholar, Edmar Noé Colón Gierbolini. Screen Shot 2016-04-07 at 1.12.03 PM

The evening was designed to provide attendees with an opportunity to not only network, but also gain a better perspective of what the future of our nation will look like. Therefore, this year’s guests also included current Latino college students, recent graduates, and young professionals.

Vice President of Business Diversity at Tufts Health Plan, Juan Lopera, expressed Tufts’ commitment to the Latino community and announced its partnership with El Mundo Boston’s upcoming Latino Family Festival and Hispanic Heritage Breakfast.

Tufts Health Plan, Boston Children’s Hospital, MBTA, Comcast, Eastern Bank, Harvard University, Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare, State Street, and UPS were all sponsors of these two events, as they are strongly dedicated to the Latino community.Screen Shot 2016-04-07 at 1.11.25 PM
