The 2025 Billboard Latin Music Week, the most prestigious and longest-running event dedicated to celebrating the industry, has unveiled its complete program and the list of stellar talent set to gather at the historic Fillmore Miami Beach from Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 24. The final announcement of artists and panels confirms that this edition will be a turning point, hosting everything from the return to public life of a reggaeton legend to a deep dive into the creation of the next global football anthem, all while recognizing the most dominant figure of the century.

One of the most anticipated moments of the week will be the encounter with urban genre icon Daddy Yankee, who will sit down to offer his first public interview following his retirement announcement. The Big Boss will share the stage with an alignment of legendary and contemporary stars including Ivy Queen, Olga Tañón, Silvestre Dangond, Soledad, and the participation of music pillars Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan. Joining them are essential talents for understanding today’s sound, such as Myke Towers, Danny Ocean, Alejo, Aitana, Tokischa, and Yailin, along with figures like DJ Khaled, Corina Smith, Estevie, and FloyyMenor, who will be part of the rich agenda of conferences and the vibrant Billboard En Vivo concerts to be held at M2 Miami.

In another panel of great cultural and sports caliber, the Billboard Latin Music Week will analyze the creation of the Telemundo 2026 World Cup Anthem. This segment, titled «The Music of the World Cup,» will bring together superstars Carlos Vives, Emilia Mernes, and Wisin to discuss the creative process and the transcendence of a project that seeks to unite millions of fans.

Finally, the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards gala, which closes the week in Miami, is set to be a historic event with the recognition of Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican artist will be honored with the prestigious «Latin Artist of the 21st Century» award, a title based on his unprecedented dominance on the magazine’s charts. This award comes at a time of notable effervescence for the ‘Conejo Malo’, just as his selection to headline the Super Bowl 2026 halftime show has sparked an intense cultural controversy in the United States. The NFL’s decision, and Bad Bunny’s subsequent defense of singing in Spanish on the nation’s biggest stage, has generated a strong debate with conservative sectors, including political figures who have called the choice «ridiculous,» fueling the conversation about linguistic diversity and the representation of Latin culture in American mainstream entertainment. This recognition from Billboard, amidst the controversy, underscores his immovable status as a global phenomenon who has rewritten the rules of music.

The 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards will take place on October 23, and will be broadcast  live on Telemundo and via the Peacock streaming platform starting at 8 pm ET/7c.
