Fenway de pie para premiar a estudiantes

June 14, 2024 – Latino middle school students from Revere and Chelsea are honored on the field at Fenway Park by El Mundo Boston and the Boston Red Sox. Helping to recognize the academic all-stars are Red Sox outfielder Wilyer Abreu; infielder Vaughn Grissom and bench coach Ramón Vazquez. Also partnering on the pre-game ceremony were Comcast, Bank of America, International Grains and Cereals, Vitra Health and State Street.

Otra de las memorables premiaciones a estudiantes latinos por sus méritos académicos en el majestuoso Fenway Park, el tradicional estadio de los Medias Rojas de Boston. Esta vez le tocó a estudiantes sobresalientes de las escuelas públicas de Chelsea y Revere, dos de las  ciudades con una gran población latina, una más que la otra. El aplauso de las galerías fue de lo más estruendoso en una de las ceremonias organizadas cada año y por 29 años por el Mundo Boston y los Red Sox en lo que ya se conoce como Latino Youth  Recognition Days.
