Jeurys Santiago, a first-generation Afro-Caribbean immigrant from the Dominican Republic, was raised in New York and now calls Massachusetts home. As the founder and CEO of Minds With Purpose, Santiago has witnessed firsthand the gaps in opportunity, mentorship, and representation for multicultural youth.
In his role as a teaching assistant at Harvard’s Division of Continuing Education, Jeurys has become a passionate advocate for higher education and is committed to breaking down barriers for the next generation of changemakers.
A Mission Rooted in Equity
As a young entrepreneur based in Greater Boston, Jeurys and his team are on a bold mission:
To positively impact 1 million lives by ensuring that equity is embedded in every opportunity—empowering young people from underserved backgrounds with resources and spaces that affirm their identity, power, and potential.
“Every struggle has been a steppingstone,” Jeurys says.
“Whether it was navigating college as a first-gen student, managing financial hardship, or dealing with self-doubt in spaces where I often felt like the ‘only’ — these experiences taught me resilience, emotional intelligence, and creativity.”
From Pain to Purpose
Guided by the belief that “healing isn’t a luxury—it’s the foundation of strong communities,” Jeurys leads with purpose. He has built an inclusive, community-first brand that offers services ranging from business consulting to videography, photography, and entrepreneurship programs.
He refuses to gatekeep access, instead focusing on creating opportunities that uplift others and build sustainable, purpose-driven ecosystems.
Making Community Impact
Minds With Purpose is deeply committed to community engagement. Recently, they co-hosted an event with JPMorgan Chase at their Lawrence branch—bringing together multicultural entrepreneurs and local leaders, creating space and visibility for underrepresented voices.

Looking Ahead: Statewide Expansion
With a strategic growth plan in place, Minds With Purpose is preparing to launch transformative initiatives in education, wellness, and cultural connection. Their long-term vision includes cultivating safe, inclusive spaces where diverse communities can thrive and feel valued.
Their recent Rise & Thrive Women’s Conference focused on social awareness and storytelling, fostering a culture where BIPOC leaders don’t just survive—they flourish.
“We don’t have to wait to be chosen — we can create our own tables,” Jeurys reminds us.
