Students from across the Commonwealth receive certificates of recognition for their academic excellence in three separate pre-game ceremonies, featuring Red Sox players.
Last Monday, the ceremony featured Sox pitchers Liam Hendriks and Brennan Bernardino passing out certificates to Lawrence middle school students selected by their teachers as academic all-stars.

The next LYRD ceremony with take place on June 30th and will honor Lynn and Revere students. The third ceremony will be on July 10th featuring East Boston students.
