Estudiantes de East Boston y Chelsea premiados entre aplausos

El Mundo Boston and the Boston Red Sox recognized academic excellence Tuesdat, May 12th at Fenway Park, during a memorable pre-game ceremony.

Public middle school students from the Umana and Excel Greenway, Excel East Boston in East Boston joined honored Chelsea students from the Excel Chelsea, Clark Avenue school and the Browne Middle school and Wright Middle School.

Handing out Certificates of Recognition were Red Sox players Andruw Monasterio and  Isiah Kiner-Felefa and State Senator Lydia Edwards.

Each student received four tickets to the game and later joined their families in the stands. For most families, it was their first Red Sox game ever.
