The biggest hotel to open in Boston since the 80’s is an instant hit with me!

Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport

The newest, sleekest, and shiniest hotel just opened its doors last week in Boston.

It’s the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport and it’s located in the heart of the city’s hip Seaport District and situated right across the street from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

It is our city’s largest hotel project to open in decades that survived the pandemic delay and that according to the star-studded ribbon cutting ceremony invites – which included our Mayor Kim Janey and our Governor Charlie Baker – was well worth the wait.

“I don’t think there is anything like it in the east coast” said Managing Director Michael Jorgensen to El Mundo Boston last week during the official opening ceremonies.

 I might have to agree.

The property boasts 1,054 finely appointed guestrooms, including 52 suites, and 100,000 square feet of flexible function space.

And for those who enjoy culinary variety, the hotel offers seven distinct dining experiences, including the coolest, most chic sports bar – The Sporting Club.

I admit it, I do like the super stylish feel, but it’s also a place you’ll feel just as comfortable in a suit as in shorts and a t-shirt. It’s my new favorite place to catch all the Tampa Bay, um, I mean Patriots games with the boys or with a lovely date.

I can’t begin to describe the scenic rooftop pool next to the open-air Lifted Pool Bar – you’re just going to have to watch the video that accompanies this article for that.

As a matter of fact, just watch the video, it’s easier and my fingers are tired from typing. Check out the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport – I can’t wait to stay in the Vasallo Presidential Suite!
